About Us

 I am Myrna Freiha, born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon.

My journey in retail began in Lebanon in 1993, when I opened a discount store offering a constantly changing selection of overstock and closeout merchandise at accessible prices. Every three months, I travelled to New York, attended trade fairs and personally sourced unique finds across a wide variety of categories.

In 2006, I launched Designers’BARN as a concept store where fashion, art and interiors came together. The original space featured furniture, fine objects, home décor accessories, works by renowned artists and, of course, swimwear.

My passion for swimwear began much earlier. As a teenager growing up in Lebanon, I struggled to find bikini tops and bottoms that could be purchased in different sizes. I would travel to Cyprus to buy swimwear fabrics and attempt to create my own pieces, sometimes successfully, sometimes less so!

Over the years, swimwear and fashion naturally became the heart of Designers’BARN. Today, we are a multibrand showroom and online destination offering a carefully curated selection of swimwear, resortwear and clothing from Brazil, Colombia, the United States, Spain, Italy and beyond.

We believe in individuality rather than mass availability. That is why we select limited quantities of each style, focusing on beautiful fabrics, flattering cuts and pieces that feel genuinely special.
